Affiliate Disclosure

What this means

When you click an affiliate link on TopRatedSoftware and purchase a product or service, the merchant pays us a commission. The commission may be a flat fee or a percentage of the sale. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go to the vendor directly.

Where disclosures appear

• A short disclosure appears on every page that contains commercial links.
• Each affiliate CTA displays an “affiliate” label and a confirmation message.
• This standalone Affiliate Disclosure page is linked from every page footer.
• Our Editorial Principles explain how we keep these decisions separate.

What we do not do

• We do not change a review score because a vendor pays us a higher commission.
• We do not delete negative findings because a vendor threatens to drop their affiliate program.
• We do not hide non-affiliate alternatives when a higher-paying merchant exists.
• We do not insert paid placements inside editorial rankings.

Identifying sponsored and affiliate content

Every CTA on the site is labeled. Editorial links are not marked as affiliate; they may still be to vendor sites. Affiliate links are clearly labeled. Sponsored articles and placements are explicitly tagged "Sponsored" and appear outside our editorial rankings.
